Climb4Community is a community-supported membership program designed to increase access to climbing while keeping the gym financially sustainable. The program is built around a sliding-scale model that allows members to pay above or below the suggested membership rate based on what they are able to afford. By choosing to contribute what they can, members help ensure access for others while supporting the long-term health of the gym.

• Members who can contribute more than the standard membership fee are invited to set their own monthly amount in increments of $10 above our base rate.
• If you need a reduced rate, you can apply to find out if you qualify for alternative pricing.
• No matter if you contribute more or less, every member receives full access to all premium C4C benefits!

Climb4Community is designed to support access for people who would otherwise have difficulty affording a membership. If normal membership prices are out of reach, we encourage you to apply for a C4C membership.

You should consider a base rate membership if:

• You are currently able to meet your basic needs without difficulty
• You have a job or other support that gives you financial stability
• You have expendable income for shopping, entertainment, travel, etc.
• Paying full price might be a sacrifice, but not a hardship

A Climb4Community membership might be right for you if: 

• You are unemployed of underemployed (and not by choice)
• You struggle to meet your basic needs
• You qualify for government assistance
• You have a disability that impacts your ability to work
• You do not have access to financial support from a partner, your family, or investments

If you are unsure, you are welcome to apply. Requests are reviewed based on current capacity.

Climb4Community has limited availability, and relies on the honesty and trust of our members. This is not a lifetime membership, and the price you receive applies for 12 months. Each year, we’ll adjust your membership up one tier to make space at every tier for more participants. If you decide to cancel, you’re always welcome to reapply with a new application. There’s no contract, or termination fee, so you are not committed to remain in the program any longer than you need.
